Tara’s love of property management started when she got a summer job in college working at a ranch near Jelm, Wyoming. She managed all aspects of cleaning and preparing the main house as well as cabins for the guests. After a few summers working there she knew ranch/property management was her passion. When that owner bought another ranch in Texas he knew Tara was the one to call on to move there and manage it. At just 22 years old she was handed the keys to multimillion- dollar ranch while the owner lived at their full time property in Colorado. In the coming years she would oversee the 300 head of cattle and 100 head of horses as well as directly overseeing the building of a new state of the art cutting horse training facility. It was then that she also gained a love for construction management.

When it was time to move back closer to family it wasn’t long before she found her dream job managing another ranch in Evergreen, Colorado. Her responsibilities included the care and the upkeep of an 80 acre ranch with horses, barns, indoor arena, event center and a house. Shortly thereafter she met Chet and once they got married the property owners added five more of their properties to their management responsibility. These included rental properties, commercial properties as well the 80 acre ranch, and the owners 10,000 sqft home. As newlyweds Tara and Chet learned each others strengths and weaknesses and found that they compliment each other very well in business. Chet’s passion for leadership and management is driven by his successful career in the fire service.

Chet and Tara’s love of ranching and the western lifestyle shine through in the way they do business. You could say the code of the west comes natural to them.
